An exciting opportunity has become available in our Project Management team for a Senior Change Management Advisor on a maximum term, full-time period until 25 June 2028.
In this role, you will coordinate, implement and support change management interventions, to facilitate successful implementations and adoption of new business systems. This will require engagement with various stakeholder groups and developing stakeholder management plans, to ensure the project team/s and the City, at large, employ implementation strategies that set-up for success.
The key responsibilities of this role:
- Develop, coordinate and implement change management strategies and protocols including Change Management, Communication, Business Transition and Stakeholder Management Plans.
- Design and conduct change impact and business readiness assessments.
- Lead planning and resource allocation for business change initiatives.
- Initiate, influence and maintain high levels of stakeholder engagement, proactively managing needs, expectations, issues and concerns to mitigate risks.
- Engage with IT, project delivery and business stakeholders to support adoption of new processes, systems and digital capabilities.
- Foster working relationships and strong engagement with leaders to manage and implement change initiatives.
- Design and maintain rolling, program-level communications plan (e.g. quarterly). aligned to the delivery roadmap and governance cadence.
- Coach and prepare employees for change.
- Implement activities to stabilise and support change.
- Monitor, track and report on change adoption, user readiness and process/system utilisation metrics post go-live
- Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and fulfill a variety of tasks to meet the requirements of the organisation within the current range of skills, qualification, competence and training.
Essential Criteria
- A relevant tertiary qualification/industry accreditation and/or extensive experience in change management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing change management plans and initiatives.
- High level of customer service, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups and positively influence others.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders across a multi discipline organisation.
- Sound understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Strong risk management and communication skills.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically, particularly in the analysis of trends and opportunities.
Salary Package
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 8. The salary range is $122,200.00 to $130,520.00 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation.
