An exciting maximum term full-time opportunity has arisen in our Information Services team for a Customer Relations Officer for a period of 13 months to cover a period of parental leave.
In this role, you will provide a high standard of customer service and administrative support to City operations.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Work as a team to ensure that both the City’s front counter and switchboard operations are always attended to and that all enquiries are actioned appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for end-to-end customer interactions.
- Process and register City communications.
- Create and monitor Customer Service Requests.
- Perform inductions and help to organise customer service training.
- Receive and process payments.
- Reconciliation of daily takings.
- Undertake end of day processing.
- Prepare standard correspondence and documents.
- Assist with entering data into the City’s computer systems as required.
- Review and recommend procedures.
- Assisting in managing the development, writing and maintenance of customer service Intranet pages.
- Compile simple reports
Essential criteria:
- Well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and communications skills.
- Previous experience in using a customer request management (CRM) system within a customer service environment.
- Experience in cashiering.
- Ability to adapt to using different software applications.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Federal Police Clearance not more than 6 months old at engagement.
Salary package:
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 4. The salary range is $74,220.64 to $84,667.44 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation.
