The successful candidate will join the team at Lords Recreation Centre and will be expected to provide a high standard of customer service whilst performing their duties in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. This is a part-time position of up to 25 hours per week.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Deliver 5-star customer service both in person and over the telephone.
- Full understanding of our product range and operations to direct visitors/members to the appropriate person or department.
- Receive and action telephone calls and direct appropriately.
- Opening and closing of the facility adhering to safety and management guidelines.
- Facilitate membership sales journey from enquiry to sign up. Assist customers to identify best-suited membership and manage their membership needs. Conduct Centre tours as required.
- Assist Memberships team to achieve KPI's and complete paperwork and recordkeeping duties.
- Processing of daytime court payments and game fees for sports competitions of an evening.
- Assist sports team with updating competition results, forfeits procedures and finances.
- Take casual court bookings and payments.
- Support role for Sports team and assist Duty Manager with evening competition management.
- Receive and process payments that come across reception and by phone.
- Reconciliation of daily takings and balancing of cashier floats.
- Receive and distribute keys to Community Facilities.
- Assist Team Leader Customer Experience and Duty Manager as directed.
- Any other duties as required.
Essential criteria:
- Demonstrated outstanding Customer Service skills.
- Demonstrated experience of sales in a similar role provided.
- Ability to meet personal and team-based KPIs.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound administration skills and ability to use corporate computer systems.
- Strong organisational ability and well-developed multi-tasking skills.
- Self-motivated, strong initiative and ability to perform without supervision in a team environment.
- Strong team player and display a willingness to multi-task in to meet the requirements of the organisation.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings.
- Police Clearance.
Desirable:
- Current Working with Children Check.
Salary Package:
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 3. The salary range is $65,143.52 to $71,656.00 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation
