Job Description

This role sits in the Information Services branch and will support the development, implementation and maintenance of the City's enterprise software applications and services, with a particular focus on the TechnologyOne ERP system.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage user access and maintain system configurations to ensure systems are set up correctly. 
  • Coordinate system upgrades, apply patches, test enhancements and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems run smoothly.
  • Liaise with staff and external vendors to maintain enterprise software applications.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system and end-user issues.
  • Actively work on decommissioning legacy system.
  • Maintain integrity, security, and business continuity of enterprise applications through effective database administration and management.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams on new system implementations or integrations.
  • Design, creation, and ongoing maintenance of complex and specialised reports derived from enterprise information systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy and relevance, and delivering insights that support business decision making and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with system users to capture, analyse, and document business processes within enterprise systems.
  • Deliver training and 1-to-1 support to key users for new or improved functionality.
  • Any other duties as required.

Essential criteria:

  • Bachelor of Information Technology or a similar degree and/or relevant work experience.
  • Considerable experience supporting and maintaining enterprise software applications, including installation, planning, and review.
  • Demonstrated experience in SQL Server database management, including backups, creating views, and stored procedures.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing workflow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and business process management.
  • Practical experience in creating complex reports.
  • Comprehensive skills in service delivery, customer service, and collaborating with clients to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. 

Salary package: 

In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 7. The salary range is $111,072.00 to $119,028.00 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
