Job Description

This role sits in the Technical Services directorate and will provide a high standard of customer service and administrative support in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.

The key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls, CRM, TechOne/CIA and email inquiries, politely and efficiently to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, Coordinators and Officers within the Parks & Environment Branch.
  • Complete formatting of letters, memos, tenders and other documents as required.
  • Maintain Parks and Environment services hard copy filing system.
  • Ensure all corporate documents are saved into the City’s records keeping system.
  • Maintain and update the Branches web pages.
  • Responsible for the processing of utility bills.
  • Responsible for raising purchase orders and authorising payments as per delegations.
  • Manage the park booking process for events and functions in the City’s parks.
  • All other duties as required.

Essential criteria

  • Highly developed and proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, develop and maintain new systems, strategies and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Adaptable and willing to accept and engage in Change Management/Processes
  • Well-developed ability to use corporate computer systems such as TechOne/CIA, CRM, CM9, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service and/or other relevant experience.

Salary Package

From $73,715 to $81,411 per annum pro rata, plus 11.5% employer superannuation and additional co-contribution to your superannuation.
