Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Project Management team for a Change Management Coordinator on a fixed-term full-time basis (12-18 months).

In this role, the successful applicant will develop, manage and implement change management strategies and policies across the city to achieve strategic and organisational priorities and planning. 

 

The key responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all business change activities within the project including business change management, communications, stakeholder engagement and training.
  • In coordination with the Project Manager, develop and deliver the following:
    -    Change Management Strategy
    -    Change Management Plan
    -    Communication Strategy and Plan
    -    Stakeholder Management Plan
  • Leads and manages the development and planning of business change impact deliverables including resources required to ensure the successful adoption of the solution.
  • Build and maintain open, collaborative and reciprocal relationships with all parties.
  • Prepare Managers and employees for change through coaching; being managing change skills and building of organisation capability for the future.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification/industry accreditation or extensive experience in change management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing change management plans and initiatives.
  • High level of customer service, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups and to positively influence others.
  • Experience managing the varying expectations of multiple stakeholders across a multi discipline organisation.
  • Sound understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools. 
  • Strong financial management, risk management, communication and budgeting skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically, particularly in the analysis of trends and opportunities

Salary Range: $154,500 to $167,620 per annum plus 11% employer superannuation and additional co-contribution to your superannuation.
